Dear creator,
First of all, thank you for making something nice for me! If you thought of using my BG3 OCs for an exchange, treat or gift, I thought to include a comprehensive reference to make it easy for you (I will still be super happy if you use your own blorbos instead!)
My Dark Urge: Tandra, a gold dwarf (with a beard!), life domain cleric of Selûne. Pronouns: she/her.
<img src='https://avandrathemarysueslayer.dreamwidth.org/file/259.png' alt='My Dark Urge Tandra' title='Tandra' />
Before BG3: She lived with her Selûnite parents and underwent the same rite of passage as Shadowheart. When the Sharrans attacked, she stopped to fight one of them to buy the young half elf time to run. She raised a stone, threw it at the Sharran, killed them, and with that first murder, the essence of Bhaal within her awoke. She then killed her parents and ran away to the temple of Bhaal. As head of the cult, she is ruthless, cold and calculating. She knows how to hide her trails and draw suspicion away from her, which has made her an extremely prolific and dangerous murderer, completely devoted to Bhaal, her Selûnite past forgotten.
Love interest: Enver Gortash.
During BG3: After her memory is wiped, her personality is once again that which she had as a Selûnite. She is kind, compassionate and forgiving to a fault, always giving everyone second chances. She is very much the mom friend of the group. When she cannot resist her urges, she panics and feels disgusted with herself. Once she finds out the truth about her past, she resolves to right her wrongs so she can finally forgive herself.
Love interests: Shadowheart and Halsin.
My Tav: Aniria Lainar, a high elf artificer (alchemist). Pronouns: she/her.
<img src='https://avandrathemarysueslayer.dreamwidth.org/file/638.jpg' alt='CoS OC and Tav Aniria' title='Aniria' />
During Curse of Strahd: She comes from a noble sun elf family of Evereska, specialized in alchemical weapons. They were outraged when she fell in love with a commoner and married him, so they had him assassinated. Devastated, she blew up her family estate and fled, now haunted by her crime (which gave her a crippling fear of fire) and by visions of her husband's tortured soul, trapped and unable to reach Arvandor, during her trances. Due to her sheltered upbringing, there is a lot she doesn't know about the world, and she is curious and eager to learn, but a sadness clings to her, as she still mourns her husband and won't be able to move on until she can free his soul.
Love interest(s): Dirval, her late husband. Strahd has taken an interest in her, which unsettles her deeply. He has imprisoned Dirval's soul in his Heart of Sorrow, which has caused them to have moments of shared consciousness.
During BG3: Aniria's time in Ravenloft has hardened her. She has lost many people, and Strahd's involvement in her late husband's murder made her turn to worshipping Shevarash, elven god of revenge. After successfully defeating the First Vampire (a painful, long and traumatizing process), she has vowed to end every vampire lord in existence. Due to witnessing so many friends die, she has become a loner (rooted in the belief that she cannot save anyone), with a cold and distant personality. As she warms up to everyone, traces of her past, sweeter self before Ravenloft begin to shine through, and she becomes more caring, questioning if a more peaceful life is really out of the cards for her.
Love interest: Astarion.
My new Tav in my multiplayer game: Roshan, a black dragonborn fighter (future eldritch knight). Pronouns: she/they.
<img src='https://avandrathemarysueslayer.dreamwidth.org/file/3272.png' alt='Tav Roshan' title='Roshan' />
Before BG3: dragonborn nobility works a bit differently than with other races. There are established clans, and Roshan is member of one. Once she reaches dragonborn adulthood (fifteen years old), she travels with her father to Baldur's Gate as representatives of their clan. There, she meets and trains under Duke Ravengard, someone she holds in high regard. This happens five years before the events of the game.
During BG3: Roshan is a young, disciplined warrior with a keen mind, but her temper is quick and can act impulsively. She has a strong sense of honor, and believes in achieving glory in the battlefield, fighting to protect her people (both in and out of Baldur's Gate).
Love interest(s): any, will probably end up romancing either Wyll or Lae'zel, but only time will tell.
